The items sold on this website are vintage and have been previously owned.  Most are gently worn and have been well cared-for over the years.  While many of the Sarah Coventry pieces are still in the boxes and have never been worn, it is authentic vintage merchandise manufactured from 1950 through 1984.  This is NOT new Sarah Coventry jewelry!

Amazing Vintage Jewelry is NOT affiliated in any way with Sarah Coventry.  We do not hire sales people and we do not work through home parties.  We do not repair broken Sarah Coventry jewelry.

I am not qualified to and DO NOT appraise jewelry.  Also note that this website does not list jewelry on consignment.

Sarah Coventry vintage jewelry comes with a variety of markings, depending on the date the piece was manufactured:  SAC, Sarah Cov, SC, Sarah Coventry, Sarah, Coventry.  Some of the early pieces of Sarah Coventry are not marked at all.  In most cases, I do not list which marking a particular piece has.  If you need to know this information, please e-mail me prior to ordering.

At Amazing Vintage Jewelry, we are very particular about the condition of the jewelry we sell.  You will notice that we never use the term "MINT" condition.  There is a reason...  Most of our jewelry is 25-50 years old.  The term "MINT" condition refers to the condition of an item at the time it is produced.  We feel that there are very few, if any, items that look the same way they did 50 years ago.   So instead, we refer to unworn, like-new items as "EXCELLENT" condition.  "VERY GOOD" condition refers to items that are in excellent condition, but we cannot verify if they have ever been worn or not.  Any time we use the term "VINTAGE" condition, there may be signs of light or normal wear, and usually this wear is noted in the description.  Any items with excess wear will be noted, although most of the time, items with excessive wear will not be listed on this website.  Our goal is a happy, satisfied customer who will return to our website and shop again.

HOW TO NAVIGATE THIS SITE:

Click on the categories at the top of the site to access the jewelry that you are interested in.  There is also a site navigation map at the bottom of each jewelry page. 

Please note:  When you reach the shopping cart page, you will need to press the "BACK" button on your browser to go back to the page where you were shopping.  Hitting the "KEEP SHOPPING" button will take you back to the HOME page.

 

HOW TO ORDER:

To order using a credit card, click on the "ORDER" button to the far right of the item that you want to order.  This will place your item in your shopping cart - then you may continue shopping by hitting the "BACK" button on your browser. 

When paying by check or money order,  please jot down the item numbers and prices of the items that you want to order and e-mail me with your order, and I will reply to you with your total, including shipping/handling and sales tax charges.  To e-mail an order  CLICK HERE If you are mailing your payment, it must be received within 10 days after placing your order or your merchandise will be returned to stock.

PLEASE make sure to double-check your ship-to address.  Any packages returned to me due to the customer entering the wrong address will be subject to a second shipping charge.  If you do not want the package re-shipped, you will be issued a refund for the jewelry only - original shipping charges are non-refundable if the package was shipped according to the information that you entered into your order.

Note that since all of our items come from different sources at different times at different costs, each item that we carry in our stock will have a unique style number.  Therefore, the item number that you receive may be different from the item number listed on the website.  Rest assured that the item you receive will be the same as the item shown, in the same condition, although it may not be the exact piece that was photographed for the website.  It is very difficult and time-consuming, and thus costly, to change each style number and photograph in the Yahoo Stores system every time we sell an item and replace it with another just like it. 

SALES TAX:

Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped within North Carolina.
 

SHIPPING:

Shipping costs are not negotiable.

Orders are normally shipped within 2-3 business days via US Postal Service ONLY - no UPS or FedEx.  Packaging includes a small USPS Priority Mail box.  If you insist on other packaging, there will be a $3.00 surcharge added to your final cost on top of the normal shipping charge for packaging and the time/travel involved in having to go to the post office.  Additionally,  I am not responsible for any damages occurred in shipping.  

PLEASE NOTE THAT I CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATES!!  The Post Office is very good with most US shipments, and they usually arrive within 2-5 days of shipping.  However, I cannot be responsible for what they do with the package after it leaves my hands.

For US customers, insurance is automatically included on all orders - this protects you against any damage that may occur during shipping or the total loss of your package.  Delivery Confirmation is also required and included in the shipping cost for US customers. 
If you insist on not insuring the package, your items will be shipped at YOUR risk...if lost by the post office, your money will not be refunded.  Also, if you request that a package over $50 be left at your door or in your mailbox if you are not at home, it cannot be insured...therefore, YOU assume responsibility in the event of loss or damage and your money will not be refunded.  Packages insured for less than $50 do not require a signature and will automatically be left in your mailbox.  Packages insured for more than $50 DO REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.  If you are not home to sign for your box, you will probably have to pick up your package at your post office.   If this is a problem or you feel you would be too inconvenienced to pick up a package valued at over $50 at the post office, please do not order.  When I receive your order with the payment, I will assume that you have read this policy and understand these guidelines.

Shipping and handling charges are calculated automatically if you are paying by credit card. 

For most orders, there is a small handling charge.  This covers the cost of bubble wrap and packing peanuts (which are manufactured from petroleum and have gone up in price as gas has gone up) and sometimes covers the cost of preparing the paperwork and gas to the post office.

Also note that I do not ship on Saturdays.  As part of the USPS cut backs, my post office is now closed on Saturday.

EXPRESS SHIPPING is available for $28.00 in the US only.  This is the 1 DAY SHIPPING option found on the checkout form.  Please note that the quote of "1 DAY" pertains to shipping time only.  All Express Shipping orders will be given priority, but may take 1-2 days to pull and pack for shipping, and therefore will not reach you before 2-3 working days after the order is placed.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS  - Please note that the ONLY methods of international shipping will be USPS Priority International or Express Mail International.  ALL international orders will be properly documented as "merchandise" on the customs forms and will be listed at the PRICE YOU PAID.  The duties/tariffs that YOUR country requires you to pay are completely out of my control, and are your responsibility. 

International shipping costs begin at $15.75 for a Priority International Flat Rate package.  This price is non-negotiable.  Unfortunately once the package leaves my hands, the delivery time is out of my control.  Customs can be quick, but I have also know packages to take 4-6 weeks to clear customs.

Also note that for International credit cards, there will be a 10-day waiting period prior to shipping after your purchase is charged.

RETURN POLICY:

Our Amazing Vintage Jewelry is described as accurately as possible. Please e-mail us with any questions you have prior to placing your order.

Please note that I will gladly refund your purchase price if you need to return an item. However, shipping costs are not refundable, and the customer is also responsible for return shipping charges. If you are returning an item, please let me know so that I can watch for it and alert you when I receive it. I also ask that the merchandise be returned in the SAME packaging as it was shipped to you. Returns shipped back in packaging other than the original packaging may be refused unless I have authorized the return to be shipped back in different packaging.  The merchandise must be in the same condition that it was in when I shipped it. You will receive credit for your return as soon as I receive it.  Therefore, I highly encourage that you purchase postal insurance on all returned packages - if I do not receive the package, or receive it damaged, I cannot credit your account.

Any items that need to be returned should be shipped back to me to be received by ME no later than 30 days after your purchase date.   Items returned after 30 days will be refused and returned to you.

***PLEASE NOTE - ANY ITEM returned WITHOUT the original Sarah Coventry box and/or card that was shipped to you will be subject to a 25% surcharge for that item. 

When I receive your order with the payment, I will assume that you have read this policy and agree to follow these guidelines.

Any attempts to circumvent this clearly written procedure will be turned over to legal council.

MAILING LIST:

When you purchase from me, you are automatically included on my "PREFERRED CUSTOMER" mailing list.  I send out an e-mail every month with NEW ADDITIONS to my website.  If you prefer NOT to be included in these mailings, please put "DO NOT ADD TO MAILING LIST" in the comments section of your order.  If you are already receiving my mailings and do not wish to continue receiving them, all you have to do is reply to the e-mail with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line.  I will gladly respect your wishes.

SHOPPING:

The only catalog that I offer is the on-line listing (the website).  There is no brick and mortar store.  Also, there is no printed catalog, as many of our items are one-of-a-kind, and therefore our inventory changes daily.

Please note that I am in no way affiliated with the Sarah Coventry company.  I purchase used and previously owned jewelry from estate sales.  All of the jewelry on this website has been previously owned and the majority has been gently worn.

RIGHTS OF THE SELLER:

I reserve the right to cancel any order at any time.  This includes, but is not limited to, orders via suspicious credit cards, orders via credit cards shipping to an address other than the one where the credit card bill is received, and orders to customers who I feel have an excessive amount of returns.  I also reserve the right to request photocopies or faxed copies of the actual credit card being used along with the customer's photo ID on credit card orders that appear, in my opinion, to be potentially fraudulent.
